Chapter 22: The Birth

-Finn's POV-

 7 months later...

Marceline and I were sitting on the couch again, Fang had shifted into a viral mass and was moving around on the ceiling, he started to "drip" down to the floor and he shifted back into his regular form. We had adopted him into our family and we were happy that we did, he broke the tension of the awkward moments we had in the house. Marceline floated upstairs, and I followed her to our bedroom, she sat down on the bed and I took advantage of the moment, I sat down at the piano and said "Marceline, I found this beautiful song, and I would like to play it, just for you". I saw her blush and giggle, I winked at her and turned my attention to the piano, Marceline had taught me how to play it a couple months back, and I started playing, revealing my amazing voice.

I had mainly sang this song to boost her morale and make sure that she wasn't unhappy before our children were born. "That was beautiful Finn" said Marceline, she was crying happily, "thank you Marceline, I just want you to be happy, I love you for who you are, you don't need make-up or any of that fancy stuff to get you noticed, all you have to do is be yourself" I said, those were the deepest words I had ever spoken, Marceline and I both shared a passionate kiss together. Unfortunately for Fang, he had come in at the worst moment possible and he interrupted us before deciding to leave, we both laughed.

-Marceline's POV-

Suddenly, I felt a bodily urge unlike any other, and I knew exactly what it was. I had dropped my ice cream and fell open may hands and knees.  Finn was asking me what was wrong, and I replied the only way I could at the moment "IT'S HAPPENING!!!!" I yelled, and Finn sprang into action, he picked me up, and flew me as fast as he could to the nearest hospital, which happened to be located in the Candy Kingdom. Finn used a voice activated communicator to call his sister, telling her that I was in labor and we were on our way. When we go to the hospital, I was placed on a stretcher and wheeled to a birthing room, Finn accompanied me and was there to give me support. 2 minutes later, our children were born, we named our son Isaac, and our daughter Faith. All our relatives came to the hospital later that day, my father was the first to get here, and he was very happy to see my newborn son and daughter.
