Chapter 12: Animal I Have Become
-Finn's POV-
As the sunlight continued to cause me pain and agony, I saw the dagger poised to strike my heart, and squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for Flame Prince to deliver the finishing blow. Suddenly, the pain ceased, and I opened my eyes to see Flame Prince looking to his right, so I looked to my left and saw the curtains were closed, Flame Prince's dagger was knocked out of his hand by an invisible force, shortly afterwards, he too was knocked down. I fell on the floor, forgetting that I could levitate, and saw something that would turn the tide of the fight, standing right in front of me, I looked at her and said "Flame Princess!"
-Back to third-person POV-
"Finn, go to your sister, I've got some business to take care of with my brother" said Flame Princess, Finn nodded and headed over to Bubblegum, but he was stopped by a beam grid, when he touched it, it burned his skin, "a sunlight cage?" he wondered, he turned around to see Flame Princess confronting her brother.
-Flame Princess's POV-
I made my way to my brother, he looked at me, but I couldn't see his face. "Gregory, why are you trying to kill Finn?". My brother responded to my question after a long pause, "because I always despised that brat, he deserves this". I was appalled that my own brother would hate a person I love, "please end your quarrel with Finn" I pleaded, Gregory, appeared to be thinking over my proposal, and said "NO" and he shot an arrow at me. "You leave me with no choice brother" I said as I turned blue and sent a barrage of fireballs at him. This weakened him, but it didn't prevent him from using a teleportation ability.
-Finn's POV-

In his dying moments, Flame Prince teleported into the sunlight cage and removed his shirt, he pulled Bonnibel from the pillar, and increased his temperature while he had her in a bear hug from behind, he started melting her and then he removed his mask, he ripped apart her flesh while she screamed in pain, and then he bit her, therefore infecting her with the same disease he had. He gave an unsettling laugh "my parting gift..." he said horsely, and then he died. "NOO!!" shouted Finn, as he witnessed what had happened to his sister. The energy barriers disappeared, allowing Marceline to join them. Finn ran to his sister as soon as the barriers vanished, he held her close, "WE GOTTA GET HELP NOW!!" exclaimed Finn, and he flew to the only place that could help her, The Candy Hospital.
